Liveminds

Co-founder of Liveminds. I love to bring like-minded people together. Whether that's growing businesses, running online communities, staging events or captaining my village cricket team, nothing makes me happier than seeing people with a shared passion, coming together and making the most of it.

Google’s Chrome ‘fast’ browser has shown, speed is the most important thing to most web users. A new ad campaignby a Swedish broadband provider illustrates this brilliantly, using Facebook’s newly purchased VR technology Oculus Rift, to show how real life would be if you had to ‘live with lag.’

We’ve already made some big speed boosts to Liveminds over the last few months.

These are to ensure that, as the platform grows rapidly around the world, with ever more people engaging on it, that the experience remains as responsive and enjoyable for everyone – researchers, participants and observers.

Server Migration Performance Graph

Today we took another huge leap forward, with a new super-fast server and code infrastructure. As you can see in the graph above, we’re serving pages over twice as fast since migrating to the new server. This means you can get your project set up, moderation and analysis done much faster and more efficiently, however many people you are interacting with, and whatever volume of media you are handling.

We hope you enjoy the experience.
